Karakoram Kund Sculptural Vase

The Karakoram Kund (کراقرم کنڈ): A Sculptural Tribute to Pakistan's Northern Majesty

Bring the rugged, breathtaking beauty of the Karakoram Range right into your living space. This extraordinary sculptural vase is more than just a container for flowers—it is a piece of art that tells the story of time, terrain, and tradition.

Inspired by the dramatic topography of Northern Pakistan, the Karakoram Kund features a unique, hand-coiled silhouette, evoking the strength and ancient wisdom of the mountains. Its dark, oxidized finish and strategically placed apertures allow you to showcase both lush, modern arrangements and minimalist, traditional elements.

Place it in your drawing room as a centerpiece, or use it to add an earthy, grounding element to a brightly lit corner. The Karakoram Kund is a celebration of Pakistani geography and artisan excellence, a statement of sophisticated, globally inspired local design.

 Key Features

• Inspired by the Himalayas: The spiraling, hand-finished texture is reminiscent of the ancient sedimentary layers and jagged peaks of the Karakoram Mountain range in Gilgit-Baltistan.

• Earthen Finish: Crafted with a deeply textured, matte finish in rich tones of charcoal and bronze, giving it the appearance of an archaeological find (a khum or matka).

• Unique Multi-Vessel Design: Features a central opening for large arrangements and several unique circular apertures along the coils, allowing for creative displays of single stems, dried grasses, or traditional Pakistani floral accents like motia (jasmine).

• Handcrafted Artistry: Each piece reflects the dedicated skill of local artisans, ensuring that your Karakoram Kund is a unique, one-of-a-kind statement piece for your home.

• Sturdy Foundation: Weighs 3-4 kg, providing a solid, stable base for tall and wide arrangements, embodying the strength of the mountains it is named after.
